is the domistication of animals which are reared only for economic purposes such as cattle, buffalo, goat, camel and sheep etc. Beside that it also includes poultry farming and fisheries.
Fisheries include rearing, catching and selling of fishes. All above cited livestock is used by mankind to produce milk, eggs, wool, silk, meat and honey etc.
The different aspects of animal husbandry provides an idea to produce more food for the increasing population which is not only the rearing, catching of livestock but also
to know about the animal breeding, poultry farm management, the types of breeding, bee-keeping, fisheries etc. which are necessary for human welfare.
