How the study of biology has helped us to control infectious diseases?

Ans. Study of biology has helped us to know about causes of diseases, carriers 

of diseases (vectors), effects of diseases on different body functions.

The advancement made in biological science have helped us to effectively 

deal with many infectious diseases. 

The use of vaccines and immunisation programmes have enabled us to completely eradicate deadly 

diseases like small pox.

Infectious diseases like diphtheria and pneumonia have been controlled by the use of vaccines.
